MORE FUN FACTS
"Maybe the worst work I ever did, and the closest I ever came to getting fired in the presence of one of my childhood heroes. I wasn’t funny. It wasn’t a funny line and I couldn’t make it funny. And I was super nervous. And I could just see them going, ‘Oh no, do we have time to get somebody else?’ it was one of my first jobs in L.A. — it was agony."

TATTOO STORY
Clark Gregg and his wife Jennifer Grey surprised their fans in May 2018, when they posted photos after visiting tattoo studio in New York.
"We are in our 50s and we are not mature, so we decided that now is the time to get tatoos. There is a really cool tatoo artist in NY, he does very fine work. So we went together about eight or ten months ago and we both got tatoos.
They are not matching, and I thought she should get one of the comic book images of me, she didn't agree. So we both got different images. I'll show it to you, it's on my chest... no, it's not... (laughing)
Yep, it's 'cause I'm mature enough at 57. I just like it. We thought it's something fun to do together. And that's true what they say, 'cause now I want another one."

Clark made his second tatoo in March 2020. The word "dare" is a reference to the book Dare: The New Way to End Anxiety and Stop Panic Attacks by Barry McDonagh.
"These are times when any sane person feels some anxiety. If yours becomes unmanageable, reach out to a professional. That doesn't mean you're weak, it means you're brave enough to be honest. If you need a more immediate solution, then get this book. It changed my life and it may change yours."

LIP SYNC BATTLE
Clark Gregg appeared on Lip Sync Battle hosted by Hip Hop legend LL Cool J in 2016. Clark chose "Rumpshaker" by Wreckx-n-Effect and "Toxic" by Britney Spears. Not only did Clark battle against Ms. Agent Carter herself, Hayley Atwell, but his wife Jennifer Grey even made an appearance during his Toxic routine. In the end, even though it was a tough call, Clark left with the LSB Belt around his waist.

"They give you a vast list of songs and all I can tell you is; I went straight to Britney baby. I already knew some of the moves to “Oops, I did it again” cause, of course. I wasn’t that familiar with Toxic but the minute I saw that video, I was like, “Girl! I am about to serve me some snacks.” – “Too much? Sorry.” First of all, I’ve never been so scared in my life and everyone should have some backup dancers at some point in their life."
