Clark has credited several people and resources with helping him manage his anxiety. Of these, he has spoken most highly of this book and its accompanying app. Together with guidance from a medical professional, these tools helped him gain greater control over his anxiety.

"One time I was in Provence with my family and some other families that I loved, and it was cicada season. I was sitting there in this incredibly beautiful place after working really hard, and I was really excited to be there, but the cicadas were like the soundtrack to a horror movie. I was sitting by myself, feeling as uncomfortable as you can possibly be in your own skin, and I thought, something's wrong here."

In 2020, Clark Gregg joined Barry McDonagh for a virtual interview to discuss his experiences with anxiety and how the DARE program had helped him over the years. Following the interview, a Daily Devotion was dedicated to Clark’s story.

In addition to supporting NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Clark works closely with the Child Mind Institute. He has also participated in the organization’s #MyYoungerSelf campaign, which encourages open conversations about mental health.
